HONG KONG, May 31 (Xinhua) -- Paola Ogechi Egonu's game-high 13 points lifted Italy over China 3-1 in third-round action at the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Nations League here on Thursday.

Egonu's partnership with wing spiker Miryam Fatime Sylla who snatched 11 points of her own empowered Italy to a comprehensive victory by 25-18, 25-14, 16-25, 25-18.

Wing spiker Zhu Ting led China with eight points, while opposite spiker Yang Fangxu also made her presence felt with seven points.
