China calls for positive measures to facilitate personnel exchanges

Xinhua,May 31, 2018 Adjust font size:

China and the United States should take positive measures to provide convenience for personnel exchanges between the two countries.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying made the remarks at a daily press briefing Wednesday when responding to reports on U.S. scheduled limits on some Chinese student visas.

She said that personnel exchanges are important foundations for cooperation between various countries, including China and the United States.

Hua said that visa facilitation between China and the United States served the common interests of the two peoples and was reciprocal and mutually beneficial.

"Both countries should adopt more positive policies to facilitate personnel exchanges and make better conditions for cooperation between the two countries instead of acting in the opposite way," Hua said.
