BRATISLAVA, May 30 (Xinhua) -- The proposal for the cohesion fund for Slovakia for 2021-2027 period includes 13.3 billion euro (15.5 billion U.S. dollars) at current prices, less than the previous period, Slovak Deputy Premier for Investment and Informatisation Richard Rasi announced on Wednesday

"The decrease in EU funds for Slovakia should only be about 10 percent in the next programme period," he said, adding that the decrease for Slovakia is the lowest among the Visegrad Four (V4) countries (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia).

"We see a fall of 10 percent at current prices to be a success," stressed Rasi.

According to Rasi, with 310 euros (360 U.S. dollars), Sloakia has the second highest rate of aid per inhabitant after Estonia. The average in the European Union is 106 euros (123 U.S. dollars).

According to Rasi, Slovakia will focus by drawing funds to transport, science, research, innovation, the environment, informatization, digitization and social affairs. Enditem
