Driver sentenced to 7 years for speeding accident that killed 19

GUANGZHOU, May 30 (Xinhua) -- A court in south China's Guangdong Province Wednesday sentenced a driver to 7 years in prison for a fatal speeding accident.

On July 6, 2017, a coach driven by Zhao Hongguang overturned on a highway in Guangdong, killing 19 passengers and injuring 30. Zhao was also injured in the accident, according to the People's Court of Longmen County.

Police later found that Zhao speeding on a slippery road was the cause of the accident. Enditem
