1,280 breeding goats fly from Australia to China

CHANGCHUN, May 30 (Xinhua) -- A total of 1,280 Saanen breeding goats from Australia have landed in Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province, Wednesday.

It is the first time Jilin has imported breeding dairy goats from Australia. The goats will undergo 45 days of quarantine, according to local customs sources.

Saanen goats have high fertility rate, long lactation period, and high output of milk that is rich in fat. Enditem
