Spanish stocks drop 1.12 pct Wednesday

MADRID, May 23 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares fell on Wednesday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down 1.12 percent, or 113.80 points, to close at 10,025 points.

A total of 27 of the 35 large companies lost in the day.

Steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal lost 4.61 percent, followed by Spain's energy company Repsol and infrastructure company Acciona that went down 4.37 percent and 2.27 percent respectively.

Chemical and pharmaceutical company Grifols advanced 0.91 percent, infrastructure company Tecnicas Reunidas was up 0.68 percent and world's leading retailer Inditex went up 0.55 percent. Enditem
