Dollar changes hands around 110 yen line in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, May 24 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands around the 110 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 109.91-92 yen compared with 110.03-13 yen in New York and 109.99-110.01 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1707-1708 dollars and 128.67-69 yen against 1.1692-1702 dollars and 128.71-81 yen in New York and 1.1711-1712 dollars and 128.81-85 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
