GAZA -- Israeli jets destroyed on Wednesday two Palestinian boats in Gaza seaport that were supposed to welcome an international flotilla hoping to break the decade-long Israeli blockade on Gaza.
According to local sources, the airstrikes also targeted a military facility of Islamic Hamas movement in northern Gaza Strip. (Israel-Palestinians-FFC)

BEIRUT -- The newly-elected Lebanese parliament on Wednesday re-elected Nabih Berri as speaker.

TEHRAN -- Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that the United States is "not trustable" and will be defeated in its fresh anti-Iran move, local media reported.

RAMALLAH -- A picture of U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman smiling at a poster of Jerusalem's skyline showing Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam, replaced by a Jewish temple, sparked outrage across Palestine on Wednesday.
