WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday met with his South Korean counterpart Moon Jae-in, hinting his scheduled meeting with the top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un may be delayed.

SEOUL -- Eight South Korean journalists will visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Wednesday to cover the planned dismantling of the DPRK's nuclear test site, raising expectations for the suspended inter-Korean talks to be resumed in the near future.
Seoul's unification ministry said the journalists will leave for the DPRK's east city of Wonsan at 12:30 p.m. local time (0330 GMT) on a government plane from an airport outside of the capital Seoul. (S.Korea-DPRK-Nuke)

KUNDUZ -- Six militants including a key commander Mullah Karim Mukhlis were killed after aircrafts struck a Taliban hideout in Imam Sahib district of Afghanistan's northern Kunduz province on Wednesday, provincial government spokesman Sunatullah Timuri said.
"Acting upon intelligence report, the security forces aircrafts targeted a Taliban hideout in Kunjak area of Imam Sahib district early Wednesday, killing six rebels including notorious commander Mullah Karim Mukhlis on the spot," Timuri told Xinhua. (Afghanistan-Militants)

WASHINGTON -- The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury sanctioned five Iranian individuals on Tuesday on charges that they provided ballistic missile-related technical expertise to Yemen's Houthis.
