Xinhua,May 23, 2018 Adjust font size:

CHONGQING, May 23 (Xinhua) -- More than 150 suspects in telecom fraud cases have been returned to China from Vietnam, according to police in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.

The telecom fraud cases involved tens of thousands of victims and 17 million yuan (about 2.7 million U.S. dollars).

Chinese police sent a team to Vietnam earlier this year to work with local police. They raided six locations in April and made arrangements to return the suspects to China.

Further investigation continues. Enditem
