Spanish shares gain 0.72 pct Tuesday

MADRID, May 22 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares gained on Tuesday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 0.72 percent or 72.30 points to 10,138.80 points.
A total of 27 of the 35 large companies rose in the day.
Spain's fifth largest bank Banco Sabadell advanced 3.02 percent, followed by Spain's third-largest bank Caixabank and steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal that rose 2.42 percent and 1.86 percent respectively.
World's leading retailer Inditex fell 1.02 percent, the top loser of the day. Energy company Gas Natural went down 0.90 percent and hotel chain Melia Hotels was down 0.68 percent. Enditem
