China sees 2.87 TB of publications in ten years

BEIJING, May 22 (Xinhua) -- China has seen 2.87 terabytes (TB) of publications in nearly 10 years, according to a newly-released monograph.

Published by the Social Sciences Academic Press, the book is China's first monograph on the big data of the publication industry.

It provides an insight into how to use big data to push forward the industry, and analyzes the similarities and differences between traditional publication and the emerging Internet industry based on the data.

It also reflects on the country's efforts to integrate the publication industry into the big data era, and features thoughts and suggestions on traditional publishers' development in the era. Enditem
