RABAT, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and his Dominican counterpart Francine Baron, pledged Friday in Rabat to give new impetus to bilateral cooperation.

Bourita told the press after his talks with Baron that the meeting reviewed bilateral relations, which have evolved considerably since the normalization of diplomatic relations in 2010.

The meeting was also an opportunity to identify new areas of partnership for the coming years, particularly in the areas of agricultural, tourism, services and in terms of diplomatic consultation, Bourita said.

Baron said the Dominica along with other Caribbean countries has strong relations with Morocco and considers it as a friend and a strong partner.

She also said that the meeting has provided an opportunity to review issues of common interests that generate political commitments of both sides. Enditem
