Conference on women's empowerment in China to be held in New York

NEW YORK, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Dozens of U.S. and Chinese top businesswomen will discuss how women are impacting China's tech, business, financial, and consumer trends on Monday in New York City.

SupChina, a digital media company focusing on China news and commentary, is hosting its second annual SupChina Women's Conference with an all female lineup of star panelists in the Big Apple on May 14.

The speakers include Dr. Kathy Bloomgarden, CEO of Ruder Finn Inc., one of the world's largest independent global public relations agencies; Jinqing Cai, Chairman of Christie's China; Wei Sun Christianson, Managing Director, Co-CEO of Asia Pacific and CEO of China for Morgan Stanley; Janet Yang, a Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning Hollywood producer, etc..

The conference will be followed by a Cocktail Reception and a separate Gala Dinner Event recognizing the SupChina Female Rising Stars of 2018: early-career achievers working in or with China.

The award judges are Wei Sun Christianson, Zhang Xin, CEO of Soho Real Estate; Yang Lan, CEO of Sun Media; and Merit Janow, Dean of the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.
