Women beach volleyball World Tour tournament opens in Vietnam

HANOI, May 10 (Xinhua) -- An international women's beach volleyball tournament, FIVB World Tour Tuan Chau Ha Long Open 2018, kicked off in Ha Long city, northern Quang Ninh province on Thursday, with the participation of 18 teams from eight countries and regions.

The players come from Canada, Chinese Taipei, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Israel, Japan, Sweden and Vietnam.

The three-day tournament will conclude on Saturday. It has been recognized as a World Tour event this year after being an Asian competition for many years. Enditem
