Singapore wishes to work with Malaysia's new gov't to enhance cooperation: PM

SINGAPORE, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Thursday said on Twitter that he looks forward to working with Mahathir, who was just sworn in as Malaysia's prime minister, and the neighbor country's new government to enhance cooperation.

Lee congratulated Mahathir and expressed his hope to catch up with Mahathir in person soon. He said Malaysia is a vital partner of Singapore, and the two peoples share strong and deep bonds.

He expressed wish of enhancing cooperation between the two sides, saying, "We can do much more together." Enditem
