Xinhua,May 10, 2018 Adjust font size:

LOS ANGELES, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Los Angeles police are investigating the missing of the Iron Man suit used in Marvel films, officials said on Wednesday.

The costly Iron Man suit disappeared from a storage facility sometime between February and April, according to Los Angeles Police Department officer Christopher No.

A police report was filed on Tuesday.

"Detectives are investigating the case. There are no suspects until now," the officer told Xinhua.

The Iron Man suit is a costume used in the 2008 Marvel Studios' superhero film "Iron Man," which starred Robert Downey Jr. as the Iron Man, billionaire industrialist Tony Stark. The costume is reportedly valued at least 320,000 U.S. dollars.

The iconic costume also can be seen in the latest production of Marvel Studios' superhero film "Avengers: Infinity War." Enditem
