Indian markets close flat

MUMBAI, May 8 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed flat on a positive note Tuesday. After trading in a tight range throughout the morning, the market continued to consolidate.

ICICI Bank, SBI and HPCL are the top gainers while M&M, IndusInd Bank, and L&T are the top losers.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 35,216.32, 8.18 point or 0.02 percent up compared to its previous close at 35,208.14. Enditem
