ADDIS ABABA, May 8 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Tuesday.

-- Ethiopia's Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed on Monday held bilateral talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya in Nairobi at the State House.

During the discussion, the two leaders have agreed to re-energize the historical ties laid down for Ethiopia and Kenya by the two nation's founding fathers. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)

-- Emphasizing their role in regional peace and security, Ethiopia and Kenya have agreed to intensify joint efforts to bring about greater peace and security to the region, particularly in South Sudan and Somalia.
