HONG KONG, May 8 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 408.55 points, or 1.36 percent, to 30,402.81 points on Tuesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 30,123.77 and 30,444.22. Turnover totaled 103.16 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 13.14 billion U.S. dollars). Enditem
