CAPE TOWN, May 7 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in South African major media outlets on Monday.

-- International auditing firm KPMG on Sunday welcomed the South African Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA) to review its turnaround strategy, saying they "acknowledge that failings at the firm have contributed to adverse perceptions about the audit profession." (Fin24)
