KHARTOUM, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Sudanese capital Khartoum is to host on Monday meetings of the 10th session of the Sudanese-Egyptian Committee on Land Crossings, said Sudan's Foreign Ministry in a statement Sunday.

The two-day meetings are set to discuss means of facilitating the movement of passengers and commodities through border crossings and enhance economic and trade cooperation.

The committee, one of the most important mechanisms of bilateral cooperation, convene its sessions regularly.

Sudan and Egypt are linked with two border crossings, namely Qastal-Ashkeet crossing inaugurated in 2015 on the eastern bank of the Nile River and Argeen crossing inaugurated in 2016 on the western bank of the Nile. Enditem
