RAMALLAH/GAZA, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Palestinian sources said Sunday that the Israeli army struck a post in the Gaza Strip, injuring one Palestinian and arresting six others in the West Bank.

The sources told Xinhua that an Israeli drone bombed a post of the Islamic Hamas movement's military wing Al-Qassam brigades in northern Gaza, no injuries were reported.

The Israeli military said in a statement that the military post it targeted was used to launch kites with fire towards the Israeli side of the borders.

Palestinian protestors have been flying kites with torches during the ongoing rally, known as the "Great March of Return," on the Gaza borders since March 30.

Since the beginning of the protests in Gaza, 45 Palestinians were killed by Israeli troops.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian was injured as a result of clashes between Palestinian youth and Israeli forces near Hebron, south of the West Bank, according to Palestinian sources.

The sources said that the clashes broke out as the Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar village, near Hebron and arrested three youths.

Israeli forces also arrested three others in different West Bank cities during the pre-dawn raids. Enditem
