HONG KONG, May 5 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted 56 km NNW of Pandan, Philippines on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 17.87 km, was initially determined to be at 14.4969 degrees north latitude and 123.9312 degrees east longitude. Enditem
