ISTANBUL -- Four South Korean tourists were killed on Thursday in a traffic accident in Turkey's Antalya province, Turkish media said.

Four other tourists and a Turkish national were wounded in the accident that happened in Kemer district of Antalya, the Hurriyet daily said. (Turkey-Accident-Tourist)

DAMASCUS -- The Syrian army on Thursday advanced in the Hajar al-Aswad area south of the capital Damascus after days of intense battles with Islamic State (IS) militants.

KUWAIT CITY -- Kuwait's Interior Ministry said on Thursday that 70,687 road accidents were recorded in Kuwait in 2017, leading to 428 accident-related deaths.
