WASHINGTON, May 3 (Xinhua) -- Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry will start Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals against the New Orleans Pelicans, Warriors coach Steve Kerr confirmed on Thursday.

"Oh yeah, yeah, yeah," Kerr said. "You don't keep a guy like that on the bench for long."

Curry, who has been sidelined for a month due to knee problems, came off the bench in his 2018 playoffs debut, a 121-116 Game 2 win against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday. Curry was more than efficient in that game, scoring 28 points and making 5 of 10 3-pointers in just 23 minutes.

The Warriors now lead the Pelicans 2-0 overall and will visit the Pelicans in Game 3 on Friday. Enditem
