Turkish police seize 210 kg drugs in operation

ANKARA, May 3 (Xinhua) -- At least 210 kilograms of drugs were seized Thursday in an operation in Turkey's southeastern province of Gaziantep, state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

The anti-narcotics teams confiscated hashish packed in 45 bags in a vehicle, with the help of a drug-sniffing dog, local police said in a statement.

The suspect was held and remanded in custody by a court in Gaziantep. Enditem
