HARARE, May 3 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in major Zimbabwean media outlets on Thursday.

-- Zimbabwe's ruling ZANU-PF party on Wednesday announced the official list of candidates who will contest the forthcoming National Assembly elections on the ruling party's ticket. (The Herald)

-- Zimbabwean First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa on Wednesday officially launched the National Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination program in Mutare, eastern Zimbabwe that is expected to benefit over 800,000 girls aged between 10 and 14. (The Herald)

-- Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Wednesday described the use of police officers and other security agencies in the management of ZANU-PF primary elections by some aspiring candidates as a violation of law and said the practice must stop forthwith. (The Herald)
