LUSAKA, May 3 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Thursday.

-- Zambia and Angola have signed five agreements following a state visit by Angolan President Joao Lourenco.(Zambia Daily Mail)

-- An opposition leader has been charged with defamation of Zambian President Edgar Lungu after he questioned his identity.

Fresher Siwale, who is leader of the New Labor Party and has been in detention for the last 10 days after he was arrested, is alleged to have published defamatory matter by word of mouth with intent to bring the name of the Zambian leader into ridicule on April 22, 2018. (Times of Zambia)
