One dies, one injured in northwest London shooting

LONDON, May 2 (Xinhua) -- A man died and another man was injured in a shooting in northwest London Tuesday night, reported local media Wednesday.

The shooting happened before 21:00 local time on Tuesday outside Queensbury tube station, when one man, believed to be in his 30s, was found with serious injuries and died at the scene.

The other man, in his 20s, is in hospital in a stable condition suffering from a gunshot wound, said the police.

Police said they were examining closed-circuit TV footage in the area and the case is being dealt as murder.

No arrests has been made so far.

The death brings the total number of victims killed in violence in London to 60 since the start of this year. Enditem
