LUSAKA, May 2 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Wednesday.
-- The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) says it will increase funding to Zambia's agriculture sector for the period 2019 to 2021.
IFAD president Gilbert Hounbo said the incase in funding was part of the agency's strategy as contained in its 11th replenishment, adding that the organization has financed 15 rural development programs and projects at a cost of 349.2 million U.S. dollars in Zambia since 1981. (Zambia Daily Mail)
-- Zambia has targeted to increase the number of international tourist arrivals to 3 million in 2020 because of various interventions being put in place to market the country.
