1st LD: 5.2-magnitude quake hits Iran's western city

TEHRAN, May 2 (Xinhua) -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale shook Sisakht city in Iran's western Kohgiluye va Boyerahmad province at 10:38 local time (0608 GMT) on Wednesday, the Iranian Seismological Center said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 8 km, was determined to be at 30.834 degrees north latitude and 51.559 degrees east longitude.

At least 18 People have been injured in the earthquake, local media reported. Enditem
