GAZA -- Islamic Hamas movement chief rejected on Monday any outcome of the Palestinian National Council (PNC) meeting scheduled to commence the same day in the West Bank city of Ramallah.
Ismail Haniyeh, politburo chief of Hamas, said during a press conference in Gaza that any national meetings that do not practically adopt the concept of national unity will not enjoy national consensus. (Hamas-PLO-PNC)

TEHRAN -- The United States is provoking regional countries against the Islamic republic, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said here on Monday.

AMMAN -- The U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Monday said the United States will work with allies to counter Iran's "malign" influence and activity in the region.
