NEW YORK, May 1 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar traded higher in late trading on Tuesday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, rose 0.66 percent to 92.451 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT). Enditem
