BEIJING, May 2 (Xinhua) -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted the waters off Taiwan's Hualien County at 7:47 a.m. Wednesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 15 km, was monitored at about 23.97 degrees north latitude and 122.29 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement. Enditem
