TAIYUAN, April 30 (Xinhua) -- Nine people have died in a landslide in north China's Shanxi Province, local authorities said Monday.

The landslide happened at around 4:57 a.m. Monday in Caijiazhuang village in Lishi District of Lyuliang City, the local publicity department said.

More than 100 people were dispatched for rescue work, according to the department. Enditem
