3 killed, 19 injured in car accident in central-west Tunisia

TUNIS, April 29 (Xinhua) -- A total of three people were killed and 19 others wounded in a road accident in central-west Tunisia, said Tunisian Ministry of Interior on Sunday.

The accident occurred on the road connecting Sebitla to Sebuba in the province of Kasserine.

A passenger bus collided with three vehicles. Among the 19 wounded, 5 people are in critical condition, confirmed Youssef Afi, Regional Director of Civil Protection in Kasserine.

Tunisia has seen 1,612 road accidents across the country, which killed 316 and injured 2,428, since this year, Lieutenant Oussama Mabruk, the communications officer of the National Observatory for Road Safety, said. Enditem
