KUWAIT CITY, April 28 (Xinhua) -- The Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Saturday strongly condemned an attack from Yemen in which four ballistic missiles were fired against the Saudi city of Jazan, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said.

In a cable sent to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud the Emir said that this "systematic hostile act" aimed at undermining security and safety of Saudi Arabia and people living in the Kingdom, KUNA said.

Saying that the attack violated international values and principles, he reiterated Kuwait's firm support to Saudi Arabia's measures to preserve the country's security and stability.

Saudi air forces intercepted on Saturday four ballistic missiles shot by Yemen's Houthi militias that targeted border city Jazan, Al Arabiya local news reported. Enditem
