BEIJING, April 28 (Xinhua) -- The world-famous Royal ballet of Cambodia was performed in Beijing on Saturday to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and Cambodia.

A Cambodian company performed the traditional dance, which is on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List, at Tianqiao Performing Arts Center. As well as from the dance performance, Cambodian artists also sang classic songs about China and the friendship between the two countries.

The performance was part of the ongoing 18th "Meeting in Beijing" Arts Festival, which is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, State Administration of Radio and Television, and the Beijing government.

The festival, which runs from Friday until May 31, will include 130 performances by nearly 800 artists from 19 countries and regions, as well as three art exhibitions. Enditem
