CAPE TOWN, April 28 (Xinhua) -- The following are news items in South Africa's major news outlets on Saturday:

-- The Railway Safety Regulator (RSR) on Friday said it was investigating the cause of a collision between a train and bakkie at a level-crossing in Cape Town which left seven people dead. (News24)

-- President Cyril Ramaphosa on Friday reiterated that the land that was taken away from black South Africans must be returned in order for freedom to be realized.

Blacks want land to be shared as it is set out in the Freedom Charter, Ramaphosa said at the Freedom Day celebrations in the Free State Province. (Eyewitness News)

-- Police Minister Bheki Cele said on Friday communities have to contribute towards a safer South Africa.
