TIKRIT, Iraq -- Iraqi forces Friday killed two suicide bombers and were hunting for the third after they tried to attack troops in Iraq's central province of Salahuddin, a local police officer said.

The incident occurred before Thursday midnight when three suicide bombers wearing explosive belts approached the security outposts in Tal al-Thahab area near the town of Balad, 80 km north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, Colonel Mohammed al-Jubouri said. (Iraq-Suicide Bombers)

GAZA -- Three Palestinians were killed and 350 others wounded on Friday during clashes between dozens of Palestinian demonstrators and Israeli soldiers in eastern Gaza Strip, said medics.

ANKARA -- Turkish Foreign Ministry on Friday summoned a German diplomat over demand for the extradition of former Co-chair of Democratic Union Party (PYD) Salih Muslim.

Turkish officials asked the German Charge D'affaires Robert Dolger to prevent an expected speech to be delivered by Muslim on May 19 in Ludwigshafen, Germany, and extradite him to Turkey, a Foreign Ministry official told Xinhua. (Turkey-Germany-Salih Muslim) Enditem
