French shares gain 0.54 pct on Friday

PARIS, April 27 (Xinhua) -- French shares edged up on Friday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 0.54 percent, or 29.61 points, to close at 5,483.19 points.
28 of the 40 selected large companies gained in the day.
French multinational information technology consulting corporation Cap Gemini advanced 6.65 percent, the top gainers of the blue chips. French luxury goods holding company Kering rose 2.96 percent,followed by European IT services corporation Atos, which gained 2.86 percent.
French multinational car manufacturer Renault went down by 3.15 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. French multinational pharmaceutical company Safoni lost 1.73 percent. Oil and gas firm Technipfmc edged down 1.40 percent. Enditem
