Suspect caught after 7 die in NW China knife attack

XI'AN, April 27 (Xinhua) -- A male suspect has been detained after seven students died and another 12 were injured in a knife attack near a middle school in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, the local government said Friday.
The incident occurred at around 6:10 p.m. Friday near the No.3 Middle School in Mizhi County.
The injured are receiving treatment in hospital.
