Chinese procuratorate approves arrest of arson suspect

GUANGZHOU, April 27 (Xinhua) -- A procuratorate in south China's Guangdong Province has approved the arrest of a suspect believed to be responsible for a fire that killed 18 people and injured five others.

The people's procuratorate in Yingde approved the arrest of Liu Chunlu, 32, who was caught at his home in the city.

The fire was reported at around 0:30 a.m. on Tuesday at a bar in Yingde. Liu confessed to the crime after being caught later the same day. Enditem
