HARARE, April 27 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in major Zimbabwean media outlets on Friday.

-- The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority has discovered massive tax dodging in the private sector, with a staggering 80 percent of firms owing up to 4.2 billion U.S. dollars as of March 2018, commissioner-general Faith Mazani has said.

This has constrained the government in its efforts to fund public sector programmes. (The Herald)

-- Zimbabwe's forthcoming elections cannot be rigged as the country's voting system is fool-proof, the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) has said.

ZEC on Thursday challenged anyone who could prove otherwise to step forward. (The Herald)
