Macao employees' confidence rises: survey

MACAO, April 26 (Xinhua) -- The overall confidence of employees in China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) has increased compared with that of a year ago, a survey said on Wednesday.

The survey, released by researchers with Macau University of Science and Technology on Wednesday, was based on the employees' views on their employers, the employment market as well as their own careers.

Macao's employee confidence index stood at 3.16 based on a range of one points to five points, up by 3.8 percent compared with that of a year ago, the survey showed.

Meanwhile, Macao's employee satisfaction index stood at 3.35, down by 0.48 percent compared with that of a year ago. Enditem
