CBOT futures retreat following big rally

Xinhua,April 27, 2018 Adjust font size:

CHICAGO, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) futures were trading lower on Thursday morning after a big rally in the previous session.

As of 1445 GMT, July corn was down 1.75 cents at 3.94 U.S. dollars per bushel while July wheat was down 9.5 cents at 4.895 dollars and July soybeans down 2.75 cents at 10.365 dollars per bushel.

Gaining some 25 cents in the past two days, CBOT wheat on Thursday retreated from its seven-week high as investors locked in profits.

U.S. weather also leans bearish for agricultural commodities as forecast features favorable planting conditions with dry and warming days across the Midwest plains for the next five to 10 days. Enditem
