China willing to deepen pragmatic cooperation with SCO member states in defense, security: Xi

BEIJING, April 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping said Monday that China is willing to deepen pragmatic cooperation with other Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries in defense and security so as to contribute to long-term regional stability and prosperity.
Xi made the remarks at a group meeting with defense ministers from SCO member countries.
The meeting of the SCO defense ministers is scheduled for Tuesday.Enditem
