Dollar changes hands in upper 107 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, April 23 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 107 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, marginally higher than its levels in New York late last week.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 107.86-87 yen compared with 107.59-69 yen in New York and 107.55-56 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.2274-2274 dollars and 132.38-40 yen against 1.2285-2295 dollars and 132.24-34 yen in New York and 1.2325-2326 dollars and 132.56-60 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
