KABUL -- The death toll from a suicide attack in Afghan capital of Kabul has risen to 52 with 112 others wounded, a spokesman of the Public Health Ministry said on Sunday.

The blast occurred when the bomber blew himself up among a crowd lining up to get access to an election-related registration site in a local school Sunday morning, spokesman Waheed Majroh tweeted. (Afghanistan-Suicide Attack-Casualties)

KABUL -- Ten Taliban militants have been killed and four others wounded in two separate airstrikes in Afghanistan, the Defense Ministry said Sunday.

In one attack, six militants were killed and four others wounded on Saturday, after Afghan air force struck a militants' hideout in Maywand district of Kandahar province, the ministry said in a statement. (Afghanistan-Taliban-Killed)

SEOUL -- South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will hold additional working-level talks early next week to discuss the upcoming summit between South Korean President Moon Jae-in and top DPRK leader Kim Jong Un, the Blue House of South Korea said Sunday.

The two sides agreed to hold the third working-level dialogue early Monday to discuss security, protocol, and media coverage for the Moon-Kim summit at Tongilgak, a DPRK building at the border village of Panmunjom, Yoon Young-chan, senior presidential press secretary, told a press briefing. NEW DELHI -- Indian President Ram Nath Kovind Sunday signed an emergency executive order to allow courts to give death penalty to child rapists, officials said.
